Preservers of the Historic Ma & Pa Railroad
Originally a wooden boardwalk ran across the west sides of all the buildings in the mill complex. At some time this boardwalk was removed in favor of the current masonry platform at the back of the grain elevator, which was used for loading buckwheat flour into the baggage car of the passenger trains.
