Ma & Pa Railroad Walking Tour - A.M. Grove House

At the top of the hill overlooking Muddy Creek Forks is the thirteen room, three story frame house A. M. Grove built for himself. From this house he could look down over all of his holdings in Muddy Creek Forks.

A drive lined with small trees ran diagonally up the hillside to the Grove house starting from a point just to the right of the stone house. Ninety years ago this drive stood out clearly since the entire hillside was cleared, not wooded as it is today.
