Come visit our authentic circa 1900's historic Ma & Pa Railroad Heritage Village at Muddy Creek Forks in York County, Pennsylvania. The train, store, and buildings are open during our operating season (June - Sept). The grounds are open for self-guided tours year-round.
You can tour the A.M. Grove general store and see how a nearly 100 year old elevator works. Listen to our player piano play one of these many old player piano songs while you view the many items from the past. Also, tour the many exhibits of the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad along with visiting our train station, post office, telephone exchange, authentic cash register and grand staircase. We have refreshments along with souvenirs and gifts for sale.
You can also tour our grain elevator, roller mill, and view our other outbuildings: scale house, corn cribs, barn and cannery ruins. We have an original Ma & Pa caboose along with our recently acquired EMD diesel #82.
View Events Calendar for specific dates and times.
In addition, there are train rides on our maintenance train. Picnic tables are available along with a large wrap-around porch to just sit and enjoy the scenery.
Near by is the Wallace-Cross Mill. One of the few water-powered grist mills remaining in York County. Along with the mill, we have nearby the famous Maple Lawn Farms Orchard and Corn Maze Park.
Just down the road are many wonderful eating establishments.
So, come and spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon making memories with your family by visiting Southern York County, Pennsylvania.
